Our goal is simple: to improve the comfort and enhance the aesthetic of your intimate area, helping you achieve a greater sense of confidence and well-being.
Why Women Choose Labiaplasty
Labiaplasty is a surgical procedure designed to reduce the size and/or reshape the labia minora (inner lips) and/or labia majora (outer lips). Women choose this procedure for both functional (comfort) and aesthetic reasons.
Functional Concerns (Discomfort):
Excessive or elongated labia can often cause genuine physical discomfort in daily life:
Friction and Irritation: Discomfort during exercise, cycling, running, or wearing tight clothing (e.g., leggings or swimsuits).
Pain During Intercourse: Physical discomfort or stretching during sexual activity.
Hygiene Challenges: Difficulty maintaining cleanliness, which can lead to recurring irritation or infection.
Aesthetic and Emotional Concerns:
Many women seek the procedure to address feelings of self-consciousness or anxiety:
Self-Consciousness: Feeling anxious or embarrassed in intimate situations, changing rooms, or while wearing certain clothes.
Appearance: Seeking a more symmetric, streamlined, or tucked-in appearance of the labia.
Our Philosophy: Dr. Hall approaches every labiaplasty with the understanding that this is a highly personal decision. We focus on listening to your specific concerns and designing a procedure that restores both form and function with beautiful, natural-looking results.
Your Labiaplasty Procedure with Dr. Hall
Techniques for Optimal Results:
Dr. Hall specializes in techniques that prioritize a natural look while maintaining the delicate function and sensitivity of the labia.
Trim (Edge) Technique: Best for reducing overall length while providing a clean, straight edge.
Wedge Technique (Preferred): Removes a V-shaped section from the thickest part of the labia, preserving the natural edge and color.
Combination/Clitoral Hood Reduction: Labiaplasty is often combined with a reduction of the clitoral hood to ensure the entire area appears balanced, proportional, and smooth.
Anesthesia: Typically performed under local anesthesia to ensure you are relaxed and pain-free throughout the procedure. General anesthesia is available but is rarely needed. Most patients tolerate the procedure very well under local anesthesia. During this procedure Dr. Hall and his nurse will ensure you are comfortable throughout the entire procedure.
Duration: The procedure usually takes between 30-60 minutes.
Stitches: Absorbable sutures are used.
Discretion and Recovery
We prioritize your privacy and smooth healing process.
Privacy and Confidentiality:
At The Plastics Atelier, we treat all discussions regarding Labiaplasty with the utmost discretion and respect. Your consultation with Dr. Hall is a confidential space to openly discuss your concerns.
Post-Procedure Care:
Downtime: Most patients feel comfortable returning to desk work or light activities within 3 to 5 days.
Swelling: Significant swelling is normal during the first week. We provide detailed instructions on cold compresses and resting to manage this.
Restrictions: You must avoid strenuous exercise, cycling, swimming, tampons, and sexual intercourse for 4 to 6 weeks to allow for complete healing.
Results: Final results will be apparent once swelling has fully subsided, typically within 6 to 8 weeks, with continual improvement over several months.
