Scheduling your appointment online or by calling/texting the TPA Concierge at 402-603-0080.
If you would like to be on our waitlist for earlier appointment times, please indicate that and we will put you on our alert list!
-
When you schedule your appointment, you will be directed to fill out an intake form. We will use this information to prepare for your visit and gather any relevant information prior to booking surgery.
-
We want to get to know you before you ever step foot in our office. One of our surgery clinic team members will reach out to you to welcome you to the practice, prepare you for your consultation, go over intake form questions, and give a general estimate for procedure pricing and scheduling dates available. It is our goal for you to be able to arrive at your consultation with all the information in hand to make an informed decision.
-
Visuals are always helpful. We ask that if you have them, it is great for us to see your goal photos and anti-goal photos of what you wish to achieve. We use these as a starting point in conversation if they’re available. Every person’s anatomy is different and we will discuss realistic options based on your goals, baseline physique, and education about different techniques available.
(Virtual support groups are great places to learn about the process from others and see before/afters from others who may share your same build.)Prepare questions. Make a note on your phone or on paper to gather questions as you get nearer to your consultation. Don’t worry! If you forget to ask anything, we’re available by text or call afterwards.
A plan for funding your investment. Booking surgery will require a 20% deposit at the time of booking to secure your date. If you are interested in exploring financing options, you can do so with one of our third-party options found on the financing page.
-
During your consultation you will have the opportunity to meet with Dr. Hall to build your surgical plan. We utilizes discussion, goal photos, 3D imaging, and/or physical implant sizers to guide the conversation.
We spend time with you to ensure we understand your desired outcome, provide realistic expectations, and ensure you are comfortable every step of the way. We encourage you to ask any and all questions you have!
At the end of your appointment, your quote will be provided to you. This quote is valid for up to three months after your consultation. -
To book surgery, a non-refundable 20% deposit is required as well as completing the TPA Surgery Financial Policy Agreement. This reviews our payment, rescheduling and cancelation policies.
The remainder of payment is due three weeks prior to your surgery.
We accept cash, check, wire, credit cards (no surcharge), and financing through PatientFi or CareCredit. Please see more information on financing your surgical investment here.
Note: Nicotine will be tested at your pre-op and/or surgery day. If positive, you will be responsible for applicable cancelation or rescheduling fees. This includes but is not limited to smoking, vaping, nicotine gum, patches, pouches, and even heavy second—hand exposure to an environment or person who vapes/smokes. Even one puff of a vape or cigarette is enough to turn a test positive and result in a cancelled surgery day. Please keep this in mind when deciding to book surgery with our practice. If you are concerned about second-hand exposure, we recommend taking an at-home test to see if your baseline level of exposure will result in a positive test and create any lifestyle adjustments needed prior to booking surgery to avoid hefty fees.
We have a strict no-surgery policy when nicotine is present in a patient as nicotine can lead to serious surgical complications and will impact your healing journey and desired outcome. -
Congratulations! You have booked your surgery at The Plastics Atelier! What happens next?
A Patient Care Coordinator will reach out with information regarding surgery preparation! They will ensure you are set up on our patient portal for communications and start gathering any relevant health records from your doctors.
Your homework
+Schedule an appointment with your PCP to get a letter of surgical clearance and require lab draws. This appointment should be done no sooner than 30 days prior to your surgery, but ideally done prior to your pre-op visit with us at TPA. We will see you 2-3 weeks prior to surgery for your pre-op appointment.
+Select your caregiver. We require someone stay with you for 24 hours after surgery and be there to drive you home.
+Plan your recovery items and time off work. We provide a binder and garments for you to go home in. If you would like to purchase additional garments from us, our surgical patients get 10% off additional garments and we can measure you at the pre-op appointment for those to have in advance. For those having procedures on the glutes, we have special pillows you can order as well.
+Think about nutrition. Protein, protein, protein! We want you to start that great nutrition even before surgery day. At your pre-op appointment, we will provide you with a sample packet of SULINU protein powder to try. Regardless of what you choose to use, making sure your body as all the building blocks necessary to rebuild your tissue is important. This both for how you feel and how your results look.
+Schedule any lymphatic massage treatments for after surgery if desired.
+Know your STOP list!! What medications do you need to stop and when? Set reminders in your calendar.
+Get ready for your pre-op appointment at The Plastics Atelier 2-3 weeks prior to surgery! -
Meet with your PCP office to get clearance for surgery. This appointment should happen no sooner than 30 days prior to your surgery and be done prior to your TPA pre-op visit. Your doctor will provide a medical clearance note, take routine labs, and proceed with any other testing noted on our requirements list if other health conditions or age requirements are met.
Failure to complete this step will result in rescheduling or cancellation of surgery fees. We cannot proceed with surgery without clearance from your doctor and required labs and/or testing. -
Another one of the ways we are different than some other places is that we have a pre-op appointment prior to surgery day. At this appointment you will meet with the surgery team. During this appointment we will:
+Review the surgical plan
+Finalize implant selection
+Sign consents for surgery
+Test for pregnancy and/or nicotine
+Take before photos
+Provide you with our pre-surgery gift bag. -
The week of surgery, it’s time for that final checklist!
+Have you stopped all medications on your STOP list?
+Have you picked up your medications from the pharmacy? We suggest doing this a few days prior so we can mitigate any issues that arise with your pharmacy and answer any questions.+Receive a call from a TPA surgery nurse to review your pre-operative instructions and NPO (no food or drink) guidelines for surgery.
Note: Your arrival and surgery time is set the week prior to surgery and communicated with you at that time. -
Please hold all food at midnight prior to your surgery day.
Day of surgery
Shower with hibicleanse as directed. Do not apply additional ointments, lotions, or topicals.
Please take required medications as listed on your pre-op instructions. Hold medications on your STOP list.
Clear liquids such as water and black coffee (nothing red or purple) are allowed up until four hours prior to surgery. Please take your provided Gatorade or electrolyte drink to be completed no later than 3 hours prior to surgery.
Arrive to your surgery appointment at the time provided to you by our TPA nurse. Dress comfortably!
Your caregiver will give their contact information to your nurse. Our team will call when surgery is complete and bring them back when you are in recovery.
