Appointment & Cancellation Policies
Please review the policy that applies to your visit at The Plastics Atelier. Medical Aesthetics appointments and surgery clinic procedures have different booking and cancellation terms.
Medical Aesthetics
A card on file is required to secure an appointment with one of our medical aesthetics providers. If you prefer not to keep a card on file, a $100 appointment booking charge is required and will be held as a credit on your account.
Rescheduling and cancellation fees
Rescheduling within 48 hours: $50
Same-day cancellation or reschedule: $100
No-call, no-show: $150
For appointments requiring a deposit, deposits are nonrefundable and rescheduling and cancellation fees still apply. A second reschedule within 48 hours or second same-day cancellation results in the loss of your deposit.
Surgery
A nonrefundable deposit of 20% of the total procedure cost is required to reserve a surgery or procedure date. Final payment is due three weeks before surgery. Surgery is subject to cancellation if payment is not received.
Rescheduling fees
More than 60 days before surgery: $500
21–60 days before surgery: $1,750
Within 3 weeks of surgery: all surgeon and facility fees
Canceling surgery within three weeks of the scheduled date may result in forfeiture of the entire surgical fee, including payments made beyond the initial deposit. Exceptions may be considered for medical emergencies or on a case-by-case basis.
Testing and preoperative instructions
A positive nicotine test within one month of surgery will result in forfeiture of surgeon and facility fees and/or rescheduling fees. If approval is granted to reschedule the surgery, these fees must be paid to reschedule.s
A positive pregnancy test will result in cancellation of surgery. Payments may be retained under the surgery cancellation policy. The Plastics Atelier may, on a case-by-case basis, apply the deposit or other payments toward a future surgery when the patient is medically approved for surgery. A surgery deposit cannot be transferred to other services.
Patients are responsible for following all preoperative and postoperative instructions. If failure to follow preoperative instructions causes surgery to be canceled, fees may be forfeited and additional payment may be required to reserve a new date, as outlined in the full surgery financial policy.
The Plastics Atelier is a private-pay practice. We do not accept insurance and cannot guarantee coverage for claims submitted after a procedure. We will do our part in providing a super bill with CPT codes for you to submit a claim independently with your insurance company. Deposits and payments are still not refundable if insurance does not cover the procedure.
